Hello again.

Hello fans of our family. After an almost four month break from posting, I thought it was time to buck up and give ya'll a shout out. I do, however, post pictures frequently on Facebook... you may want to consider joining if you haven't already. :)

The big news here is that Graham starts PRESCHOOL tomorrow. Well, it's the open house and we'll meet his teachers and classmates. Then school day #1 is Tuesday... the first time he'll be in a classroom alone. I'm so excited for him and think he's going to love it. I just adore the school we've chosen for him. Here's a photo of G post-hair cut today. I should have taken a "before" picture. The neglect of his hair had turned it into a giant, white mop.

Meanwhile, Lola has two teeth, has started solids, and is pretty much crawling at 6.5 months, which is a bit insane. The girl gets into everything as soon as we turn our backs. That's very different than Graham, who took his time with crawling. There's no relaxing now! (Not that there's been much relaxing anyway the last seven months.) Plus, she is CRAZY amounts of cute. Graham makes her laugh uncontrollably, which is really something to witness.

We are hanging in there — sometimes barely, it feels like, but we are making it. And we have had some fun adventures this summer: a few nights at a camper cabin at a nearby state park, a week with Jeff's parents and brother at Lake Okoboji, Iowa, a cabin with friends on the North Shore (where we were married), and of course, a couple of visits to the Minnesota State Fair!

The mornings here are starting to feel more crisp. Fall is on its way. We'll take in those refreshing boosts of cool air as much as we can! We hope each of you are well and that you've had a wonderful summer.

Love,
A, J, G & L
