Graham and his friend Julia play the guitar, singing what are sure to be classic renditions of "Baa Baa Black Sheep," the "ABCs," and "Yellow Submarine." What I find interesting is that Graham can clearly speak and sing these songs/words, but seems to have deliberately chosen to rock it out a bit. Also, note his newly-created foot playing technique.

I didn't get around to editing this video, so it's long, but you grandparents will probably be just fine watching the whole thing. The rest of you may want to skip to about 2:40.

Lola's "guess date"

Today was Laurel's "guess date" — March 4. If anything, I thought we'd go past her guess date and that she would be birthed well into March (and that much closer to a much-anticipated spring thaw).

Surprise! She was a February baby! Firmly born in winter...

In celebration of her early arrival and almost 2-week-old birthday, I'll share these photos of our midwives making footprints for her birth certificate.
