Brooklyn Brunch

One of the highlights of our NY trip was hanging out with my college friends, Ben and Holmes, their super cool wives, and kiddos. Our babies were all born within a couple of months or weeks of each other, so we've been eager to meet these IU offspring! Here we are at Kelly & Holmes' place, where we were treated to a ridiculously yummy brunch of homemade cinnamon rolls, egg bake, champagne cocktails, and other assorted treats. The kiddies played and kissed on each other just a little bit. Lovely.

A taste of the big city

Last month we adventured to New York City with the G-man. And I say "adventured" because traveling in and around Manhattan isn't as easy-breezy with a toddler as it is say, alone or as a couple. (They weren't thinking about strollers when building all those stair-only subway stations!) We think Graham liked the city. He also had much fun finally meeting his Brooklyn friends, Amelia and Drew, and getting to spend quality time with Uncle Greg and Auntie Brigitte while mom & dad were at the U2 concert. Greg brought him a toy hummer, which is now Graham's most favorite zooming toy. Oh, and look! Graham even met the Statue of Liberty. (Über corny, I know—but we had to do it.) We knew he was plum tuckered out when he fell asleep in his stroller, which is something he never, ever does at home.

Graham likes bacon

And who doesn't?
