Happy Easter, ya'll

Graham loved his first Easter basket, egg hunt, and all the candy. At some point he'll begin to wonder why his mama keeps giving him silly headwear on every holiday...

Did every other parent have the sugar fall-out that we suffered later in the afternoon?

First Easter basket! Filled with stickers, chocolate-covered peanut butter eggs, rabbit ears, a finger puppet book about a duck, and eggs filled with play-doh. Good times.

Loves his new toy airplane!

Reading Graham's new finger puppet duck book. Yay spring!

The Thomas the Train rolling backpack from Nana + Papa was a hit!

Video: Punchy After Passover

Here's Graham, post-Passover Seder, hopped up on chocolate caramel crack(ers) and coconut macaroons, about an hour after bedtime. We love that he gets punchy instead of crabby when he's tired. And we have no idea why, but he likes to say "money" now. Where the heck did that come from??

Yes, we *think* we can safely say "Spring"

Today was another beautiful day. I think we even hit 50 degrees. Yahoo! We spent lots of time outside today, running around, chasing bunnies in the yard, and picking up sticks.

We also received a bundle of wool from Alisa's dear friend Elizabeth and her three sons. The wool is from sheep on their blueberry farm outside of Birmingham, Alabama, and was tied together in a small bundle to hang in a tree. The point? Birds will take the wool, piece by piece, to help build their spring nests.

So thank you, Benjamin, James and Ruben for sending us this sweet spring gift to hang in our backyard. Graham and Dada hung the wool today to give the birds a boost with their spring nesting. xoxo.
