We're now 29 weeks along with Little Girl Nelson — here's the belly at 27 weeks! And the belly button. I am very round. Like a balloon! Hard to believe we're officially in the third trimester. Only 3 months left to go.
Even more fun, Graham loves feeling the baby kick. The first time he felt her move, G was on my lap (off to the side since he doesn't fit in front of the belly any more) and we were reading pre-nap time stories. I felt little girl (called "Yogo" in utero) moving around quite a bit so placed Graham's sweet, little hand on my belly and asked Graham if he wanted to feel her kick. He felt the thump—then another and another— pretty quickly.
His eyes widened! Then he giggled! Then he leaned down to talk to my belly and said, "Yogo! You're kicking in there!" TOO SWEET. He continues to find the kicks and movements highly entertaining.

Graham's little bro/sis
This morning was our 20-week ultrasound for little "Yogo!" (Baby #2's name in utero.) What fun it was to see baby kicking, waving, and yawning! I hadn't really thought before about babies yawning in the womb. (I had to include the pic because it looks very Halloween-esque.)
It was also a relief to see all chambers of the heart and other pertinent body parts. It's astonishing, really, what comes of two tiny cells.
For those inquiring minds, we looked away when the technician was checking out baby's gender. You'll all learn if Yogo is a boy or a girl on baby's birthday, some time in March 2011!
Hugs,
A, J + G
